Technical Contracts Manager

Job Type - Full time, Permanent

Salary – £70,000 – £75,000 + Travel Allowance + Bonus

Location – Monument, London

The Role

The InVictus Group are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading Facilities Management company who hiring for a flagship building in Monument. They are looking to hire a Technical Contracts Manager to join an established team of technical and administrative staff consisting of 10 in total. This is a great opportunity with a natural progression route to Account Manager.

The Responsibilities

* Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract. Review and implement changes for more efficiency if required.

* Support Technical Service Manager’s to ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

* Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions so that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process are effectively implemented.

* Cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence.

* Working with the senior leadership team to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.

* Supporting the Technical Service Manager’s with development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensures that these are met and exceeded.

* Supporting the sales process through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, hosting visits, and support to mobilisation as required on new contracts.

* Ensuring a customer focuses within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.

* Provide a learning environment, and appropriate training and development planning. Support teams to ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and can reach their full future potential.

* Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward.

* Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.

Experience and Qualifications

* City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical

* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the FM & Building Service Environment

* Experience managing your own P&L (£1M Minimum)

* Managerial experience for a minimum of 2 years
