The Opportunity
Due to projects ramping up, Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, we are seeking to expand our team on a variety of nuclear projects, which range in technologies and that find themselves at different stages of their development. To do this, we are seeking to continuously employ talented individuals to join our diverse team that are excited about nuclear projects and are committed to Net Zero, and Energy Security.

Salary- £55-£65k Per Anum

The role
As the Internal Document Manager will take direction and support the Documents and Records Manager in supporting of Licence Condition 6 compliance on the project.

As the focal point for development of the projects internal document strategy and implementation plan, including the necessary processes, systems, and infrastructure, the position requires an individual who is comfortable with record management and who will positively support the drive for a document delivery across the organisation, including implementation of lessons learned from the project.

You'll work in close collaboration with the project Transverse functions outside of PDO to ensure that Documents are delivered consistently (safely, efficiently and right first time) compliant with the nuclear site licence requirements and industry best practice.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Lead the development, implementation and optimisation of the internal document management approach for the Project transverse functions which provides assurance that Document management processes are operated in conformance to requirements (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GSR2) and are effective in terms of delivering intended results.
Champion and implement the documented information and records management processes across the Project Transverse functions outside of PDO.
Support the document and records manager with engagement with Regulators (Office for Nuclear Regulation and Environment Agency) and related stakeholders on internal project document arrangements.
Ensure compliance with organisational requirements to support Nuclear Site Licence and Permit compliance.
Develop, monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators to promote process improvements.
Identify, capture and implement internal document management lessons learned from the Project team and other industry experience for incorporation into the project development phases.
Undertaking appropriate document management monitoring measurement and analysis of results in order to identify improvement opportunities.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Degree or equivalent qualifications in a subject that demonstrates relevant technical understanding and organisation and management skills.
Experience of interfacing with leadership, senior management, regulators and external stakeholders including supply chain organisations.
Knowledge of deployment of records / document and data/information management strategies, methodologies processes and tools within a major project environment.
Understanding and application of the Quality process applicable to Records Management.
Application of relevant codes and standards (EG ISO9001/19443, GSR2, ISO14001 and ISO 45001) in a multidisciplinary project environment.
Large-scale infrastructure project experience.
Previous experience of working in a highly regulated environment.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
