Your new role
The Lead Software Engineer will oversee a small but expanding team of developers working on innovative software systems and tools. This role involves managing both near-real-time software for data acquisition and non-real-time software for data processing and analytical tools. The team will be engaged in a variety of tasks, including experimental projects, new product development, and the continuous improvement and maintenance of existing products.

What you'll need to succeed

A good technical degree in a relevant field, for example in electronic or software engineering or computer science.
Ability to design, implement and test embedded software.
Experience working with real time or near real time sensing hardware, communication devices and data acquisition systems, typically using C++, C#, .NET, Java.
Experience of working with non-real time data processing and analysis systems, typically using Python, Java, C# or C++.
Experience of cloud computing like AWS & Azure
Strong skills in Agile software development practices.
Strong documentation practices.
