Due to continued growth, RECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for our well established Leicester based client as they look to recruit an experienced hybrid Accounts Payables Assistant position on a permanent basis. This role offers full study supoort for the succesful candidate.

Main role of Accounts Payable Assistant.
The successful candidate will be a team player who will form part of a high performing Accounts Payable Team. Engaged as part of a cross functional working group with other stake-holders across the business, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and delivered on time. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be able to multitask, be methodical and have a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering agreed objectives in their area of responsibility and ensuring that our service meets the required standards with both internal and external customers. Focusing on payments and ensuring suppliers are paid to their terms and conditions.

Analysis of Client Accounts

Processing of Stock PO and Non Stock invoices
Reconciliation of vendor accounts
Assisting with payment runs
Use of client portals

Managing supplier account queries in an efficient and accurate manner and resolving any queries

Ad hoc duties as and when required
Experience:

Previous experience in a payments role is essential.

Excellent Excel knowledge including Pivot tables, Lookups and formulas

SAP/Oracle ideal but not essential
Key Skills:

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to learn and develop

Positive and proactive attitude
