An Accounts Payable Assistant is required to join our Accounting & Finance team for an initial three month period, with the potential opportunity for a permanent role.
Client Details
The company is the largest furniture producer in the Nordic region, headquartered in Norway, and designs and manufactures furniture sold globally under various brand names. It has a global presence with 19 sales offices in 13 countries, over 4,000 retail outlets across 48 markets, and 8 factories located in Norway, the USA, Thailand, and Lithuania. With around 3,000 employees, the company generates sales revenues exceeding NOK 5 billion annually.
Description
The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:
Management of the Accounts Payable inbox
Processing of the Accounts Payable invoices - high volume
Preparation and processing of the payment runs
Multi-currency bank reconciliations (GBP, EURO)
Aged creditor report
Supplier statement reconciliations
Dealing with supplier queries
Assist with the production of the financial reports and audits
Ad hoc month-end assistanceProfile
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
Have a 1-2 years experience in a similar accountancy role
Prior experience working in the retail industry (desirable, not essential)
High attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
Actively studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification (preferred)Job Offer
