Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
One-on-One Assistance: Provide personalised support to students who need extra help with their studies.
Group Work: Facilitate small group sessions to reinforce learning and encourage collaborative problem-solving.
Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and resources for lessons.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, including marking homework and maintaining student records.
Behaviour Management: Support the classroom teacher in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in and help organise school events and extra-curricular activities.

Requirements:

Education: A degree in any discipline.
Passion for Education: A genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to the dynamic school environment.
DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check on the update service is mandatory.
Experience: Previous child-based experience is preferred but not required.
