Role Overview:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education, work closely with students to promote learning and engagement, and contribute to a positive learning environment. This role will allow you to work with pupils across different subjects and year groups, offering variety and a chance to develop a broad skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
Providing 1:1 or small group support to students who need additional help.
Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an additional language (EAL).
Helping manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
Preparing learning resources and activities under teacher guidance.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as grading, recording attendance, and setting up classroom materials.
Engaging with students to encourage participation and monitor progress.

Requirements:

A graduate degree (any subject area).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for working with young people and an interest in education.
Previous child-based experience is preferred but not essential.
