Technical / Operations Administrator

About the Company:
Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a meticulous Technical / Operations Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a highly organised individual with a keen eye for detail, looking to contribute to a busy and growing technical department.
The Role:
As the Technical / Operations Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Technical and Quality Control teams with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage incoming drawings, update revisions, and issue updates in CTP-MTM-DOC-FRM-003.
* Communicate revision changes to Customer Services via email promptly and accurately.
* Perform general reception duties, including covering the reception area when needed.
* Collect and distribute milk for the department from Reception.
* Assist with general QC work, including managing and filing QC batch records and maintaining location data.
* Retrieve QC batch records upon request and handle QC samples (Vectura).
* Arrange hotel bookings and payments as required.
* Update the SR diary and maintain records/logs of holidays and sickness within the department, cross-checking against SAGE.
* Update and maintain component drawings, ensuring files are correctly issued and ECNs are completed and entered into Q PULSE.
* Monitor Toolroom hours from timesheets for overtime submission and update tool history records, ensuring accurate data entry for FMEA information.
* Maintain stock levels of stationery and reorder for the Technical and QC departments as needed.
* Issue and record holiday and absence forms, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
About You:
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Previous experience in an administrative role within a technical or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry and record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Experience with quality control documentation and processes is a plus.
* Familiarity with SAGE and Q PULSE is advantageous but not essential.
