Do you have personal experience supporting individuals with special needs and want to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for caring and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant at a dynamic special needs school.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate support to students with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Work alongside teachers to help implement tailored learning plans.
Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Assist students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
Use your personal experience to help manage challenging behavior in a positive and constructive way.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and staff to support each student's individual needs.

Personal experience with special needs, whether through family, friends, or caregiving.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support young people with special needs.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a school environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
