Our client is a Sunderland based charity who are looking for a HR Systems Manager to join the organisation for a period of 12 months.
Main purpose
The role is the ideal opportunity for an immediately available HRIS specialist looking for a new challenge. The role is responsible for leading the implementation and roll out of the organisations new people system.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead on the implementation of HR information system ensuring operational and strategic requirements of the project are met.
Lead the overall configuration, development and testing of the system through the project.
Identify and embed opportunities for system and process improvement.
Parter with finance and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless interface between Finance, Payroll and HR system.
Ensure system users have the appropriate tools to effectively utilise the system post implementation.
Ensure system compliance with company policies, data security and privacy requirements.
Lead a team of subject matter experts in the development of a full suite of process documents.
Work with the Director of People to ensure the project is resourced appropriately for the life of the project and support cross training within teams to eliminate single points of failure.
Actively research new enhancements and releases to ensure the system is compliant and future proof.
Person specification
Previous experience leading on the implementation of a new HRIS system.
Proven project management experience
Project management qualification is desirable.
Proven experience working with iTrent is desirable.
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of security controls and identifying risk areas
Knowledge of compliance such as GDPR
