Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading international plastic injection moulding business, who supply world class products to their global customer with their search for a Quality Engineer.

Key Duties:

Ensure the calibration system is in adherence to the systems or customer specific requirements.
Carry out product measurements using the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and laser scanner.
Ensure that all reports are formatted to requirements and analysis is completed prior to distribution.
Coordinate and plan laboratory tasks.
Complete product validation tests to customer standards.
Review of customer test standards and update of internal testing procedures.
Maintain the documented laboratory scope.
Coach and guide others on the correct use of gauging in the manufacturing environment.
Coordinate measurement systems analysis and statistical process control studies.Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

Degree, HND or HNC in an engineering or technical discipline.
Works with precision and attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of coordinate measurement machines (CMM) and the use of PCDIMS (or similar) software.
Experience with optical measurement.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Experience with problem solving techniques.
Minimum 2 years' service in a similar role.The Package:

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum.
Day shift role, Monday-Friday.
Company pension scheme.
Holiday package.
Overtime opportunities.
