Our manufacturing client is seeking a quality engineer to work at their Southampton site.
This represents an excellent opportunity at a leading local employer and the chance to work with a range of fantastic market leading products & technologies.
The ideal candidate will be required to carry out a wide range of quality duties, so a flexible, hands on and pragrammatic approach is essential.
Key duties include:
Provide quality engineering support to the manufacturing teams
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action
Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and speed of service
Ability to analyse data and problem solve / working with QMS
Strong written and verbal skills as this role will be working within a small quality team but will be working across several different parts of the business
Experience of auditing and lean manufacturing would also be advantageous but not essential.
No formal qualification is essential but its likely the successful candidate will have a HND / NVQ level 4, or degree in engineering or equivalent experience in industry.
Our client is willing to consider candidate from a range of industry sectors.
Hours:
Monday - Friday
07.30am - 16.30pm
(Monday - Friday)
Salary:
£40,000p/a - £45,000p/a
