About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Challenging Behaviours to join our supportive team. You will be working closely with students who have various behavioural needs, helping them to navigate their learning journeys and achieve their full potential. This role requires patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges that these students face.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• A strong understanding of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviours, helping them to engage with their learning.
• Implement and adapt behavioural strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student receives a holistic approach to their education.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of interventions and activities that promote positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
