The Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the search for an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team.
Reporting into a fantastic Head of HR, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, delivering a high-quality, generalist HR service. You'll play a key role in supporting managers, driving best practice and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, all within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Based in the West Sussex area, paying circa £40,000 plus a very generous annual bonus and some excellent benefits. This opportunity would be perfect for someone proactive who enjoys a busy and varied role.
What you'll do as an HR Advisor:
Build strong relationships with managers, providing expert HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle
Act as the first point of contact for your designated business areas, delivering a proactive HR service
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance matters
Support managers in applying HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice
Analyse and report on HR data, providing insights to support business decision-making
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews where required
Provide guidance on family leave policies, including maternity and paternity
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
Assist with payroll administration and employee data management
Support and lead HR projects and people initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience within a generalist HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach
Experience using HR systems and the full Microsoft Office suite
