Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) – Decent Homes Programme
Location: Hackney, London
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Car Allowance + Package
Job Type: Permanent
Our client is a leading social housing refurbishment contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality planned maintenance and regeneration projects across London.
They have secured a 5-year Decent Homes Scheme in Hackney and are looking to appoint an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support the successful delivery of the programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term job security, career progression and the chance to work on a flagship contract.
The Role:
As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key link between residents, the client and the site team, ensuring clear communication throughout the works and delivering an exceptional customer experience within occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents throughout the Decent Homes programme.
* Provide clear updates on upcoming works, timescales and any changes to the programme.
* Arrange appointments and property access with residents.
* Respond to resident enquiries and resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
* Work closely with Site Managers and client representatives to minimise disruption.
* Carry out home visits, welfare checks and customer satisfaction surveys.
* Keep accurate records of resident interactions and project updates.
* Assist in achieving customer satisfaction and KPI targets throughout the contract.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, planned maintenance or Decent Homes projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working within occupied residential properties.
* Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
* Ability to build trust with residents and resolve issues effectively.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
