We're looking for an organised and proactive Inclusive Practice Administrator to join our Inclusive Learning team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting learners with SEND by ensuring the smooth operation of the department's administrative processes.

Working closely with the Inclusive Learning and Safeguarding teams, you'll help coordinate key activities, maintain accurate records and provide high-quality administrative support that enables learners to access the support they need to succeed.

What you'll do:

Coordinate the administrative process for learners with SEND transitioning from schools and other education providers into the College.

Support the organisation of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews, including arranging meetings, preparing documentation and recording accurate minutes.

Produce reports and collate data to support the Learning Support team and wider College reporting requirements.

Coordinate meetings by arranging invitations, agendas, room bookings and hospitality where required.

Manage purchase orders, invoices and departmental budgets in line with College financial procedures.

Maintain accurate and confidential learner records, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.

Support communication with students, parents, carers and external agencies, acting as a key point of contact for the department.

Monitor learner absence information, updating College systems and liaising with relevant staff to ensure appropriate follow-up.

Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to the continuous development of the Inclusive Learning service.

What we're looking for:

Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.

Experience working within a busy administrative environment.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Experience processing purchase orders, invoices or similar financial administration.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.

Experience working with confidential and sensitive information, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.

A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

Experience working within a SEND, education or school environment would be advantageous.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and adults.

Please note: This is a part-time position working 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE), 42 weeks per year. The advertised salary of £12,175 – £13,061 per annum is the actual salary for the hours and weeks worked (based on an FTE salary of £25,122 – £26,952).
