Fawkes & Reece (West) are working with one of our Tier 1 construction clients to recruit an experienced Temporary Construction Site Supervisor for an exciting project in Central Glasgow.
This is a 3-week contract starting Monday 27th July, working on a large-scale RC Frame student accommodation development comprising 591 student rooms.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 18:00Rate
£230-£240 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Supervising day-to-day site operations and ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Managing subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site.
Monitoring progress against the construction programme and reporting to site management.
Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.
Conducting daily site inspections and maintaining high health and safety standards.
Delivering site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
Coordinating deliveries and site logistics.
Identifying and resolving on-site issues to minimise delays.
Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
Liaising with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Construction Site Supervisor on large-scale construction projects.
Experience working on RC Frame projects is highly desirable.
Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
Valid CSCS Card.
First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
