We are seeking experienced Platers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating structural steel components from engineering drawings while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Mark out, fabricate, fit, and assemble structural steel components.
Prepare and tack components ready for welding.
Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Plater.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Strong measuring and marking-out skills.
Experience working with structural steel and heavy fabrication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
