Talent & Development (Senior BP / Manager)
Our client, a leading organisation based in Plymouth, is seeking an experienced Talent & Development Manager / Senior Business Partner to lead the delivery of talent, learning, leadership, and organisational development initiatives across the business.
This is a strategic role focused on developing people, building leadership capability, and supporting the organisation to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help drive employee engagement, succession planning, and organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's talent and development strategy.
* Partner with senior leaders to identify current and future talent needs.
* Design and implement leadership and management development programmes.
* Support succession planning and talent review processes.
* Identify skills gaps and implement learning and development solutions.
* Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
* Manage learning platforms, development programmes, and external training providers.
* Use people data and insights to measure the impact of development initiatives.
* Support organisational change and transformation projects.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Talent, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or HR Business Partner role.
* Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level.
* Strong understanding of talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
* Experience designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to use people data and insights to drive decision-making.
