Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackpool to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity. This is an exciting role for an inspirational Early Years practitioner who is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and helping children develop a positive start to their education.
The successful candidate will join a nurturing school environment where staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality teaching and learning opportunities. The role will involve delivering an engaging EYFS curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and creating a stimulating classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Your new role
Full-time Reception Teacher position
Planning and delivering creative and engaging EYFS lessons
Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress in line with EYFS requirements
Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the schoolWhat you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to create exciting and child-centred learning opportunities
Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potentialWhat you'll get in return
