Healthcare Assistant

Location: Solihull, B90
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Part-Time | Days | Monday - Friday | Term Time Only | 8:00am - 4:00pm

Meet Our Client

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support an outgoing 18-year-old young man in his educational setting during term time.

He lives at home with his family in Solihull and enjoys spending time with his friends. Outside of his studies, he loves gaming on his PlayStation, watching Formula 1, cooking and going swimming.

As part of his dedicated care team, you'll provide support throughout the school day, assisting with his personal care, moving and handling, and dietary and fluid requirements. You'll play an important role in helping him fully participate in education while promoting his independence, confidence and wellbeing.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's daily life while supporting him to achieve his potential.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality personal care

Supporting with moving and handling

*

Assisting with dietary and fluid requirements

Supporting participation in education and daily activities

*

Promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing

Working closely with education staff, the family and wider clinical team

*

Delivering person-centred care at all times

Clinical Experience

Previous care experience is essential.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our expert in-house Nursing Team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

*

Have a minimum of 3 months' paid care experience within the UK.

*

Have the right to work in the UK.

*

Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

*

Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training.

*

Be confident supporting with medication, personal care and moving and handling.

Please note: Due to the nature of this care package, our client has requested male Healthcare Assistants to join the care team.
