Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable independent garage located in Crawley, West Sussex. Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their busy team, contributing to the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles.

Conduct vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs to high standards and safety regulations
Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments
Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components accurately and efficiently
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
Identify additional faults during inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers and management
Maintain accurate inspection and repair records
Support team with other workshop responsibilities as requiredRequirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to licence checks)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to customers
Ability to work independently and within a team
