Our client in Crawley seeks a dedicated and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their family-run service centre. If you have recently completed your Level 3 qualification and aspire to work in a supportive environment with career progression prospects, this is the role for you.
Benefits for the Successful Vehicle Technician:
Salary negotiable up to £32,000, depending on experience
Monday to Friday hours with early finishes on Fridays
No weekends, bank holidays, or overtime
Breakfast provided by the owner; no lunch breaks
Work on diverse makes and models, including diagnostics, clutches, and timing belts
After probation, receive an additional day off for your birthday
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Opportunity to develop skills and increase earnings based on performanceDuties:
Servicing a wide range of vehicles to high standards
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Replacing clutches, timing chains, and belts as required
Conducting diagnostics and general repairs
Working independently within a professional and friendly team environment
Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanshipRequirements for the Vehicle Technician Position:
Recent Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop skills
Basic understanding of diagnostics and vehicle components such as clutches and timing belts
Reliable, professional, and confident in proving your abilities
