We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a well-established, market-leading business. With a trusted reputation and continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a driven and experienced team within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy packing operation, ensuring productivity, quality, and performance targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver start-of-shift briefings and complete shift handovers.
· Support the onboarding of new starters, including introductions and inductions.
· Manage absences, return-to-work meetings and attendance.
· Coach, motivate and develop team members to maximise performance.
· Monitor daily and weekly KPI achievement.
· Manage the daily operation of your team
· Liaise effectively with Supervisors, Line Leaders and Management.
· Follow and promote the Quality Management System to minimise errors.
· Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
· Organise staffing levels and line planning to meet production requirements.
· Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate incidents where required.
· Ensure production lines are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
· Report any line issues or breakdowns to the relevant Supervisor.
· Build and maintain positive working relationships across all departments.
About You
· A minimum of 1 year's experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role within a warehouse, production or packing environment.
· Strong leadership and people management skills.
· Experience coaching, mentoring and developing team members.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
· Strong IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· Experience planning workloads and coordinating staffing requirements.
· The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
