Ocean Import Operator (Freight Forwarding)
Location: Forest Gate, London
Salary: £31,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits
Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

As an Ocean Import Operator, you'll play a key role in managing import shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a seamless, efficient service.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing ocean import shipments from booking through to final delivery.
* Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, customers, and hauliers.
* Preparing and checking import documentation.
* Customs clearance coordination (where applicable).
* Monitoring shipment progress and proactively communicating with customers.
* Handling invoicing, costing, and file completion.
* Providing a high level of customer service throughout the shipment lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in Ocean Imports within freight forwarding.
* Strong understanding of import operations and shipping documentation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritise workloads effectively.
* A proactive, customer-focused approach.
* Experience with customs procedures is advantageous.
