We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive accident repair centre based in Newport, for a Senior Parts Advisor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a reputable organisation dedicated to quality customer service and career progression.
Benefits:
Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Uncapped bonus scheme providing an additional £3,000 to £4,000 per year
Up to 28 days annual leave, rising to 33 days with length of service, including bank holidays

Clear long-term career development prospects within a large UK-wide automotive accident repair groupDuties of a Senior Parts Advisor:
Accurately identify and source vehicle parts for repair work
Promptly pick and supply parts to workshop staff
Order parts from suppliers efficiently and cost-effectively, prioritising aftermarket options to reduce costs where possible
Manage parts inventory and ensure timely delivery
Collaborate with the workshop and sales teams to meet repair deadlines as a Senior Parts Advisor
Provide excellent customer service and technical support
Maintain accurate records of parts supplies and orders
Assist in achieving department sales and profitability targetsRequirements of a Senior Parts Advisor:
Recent or current experience working within the automotive industry, preferably in a parts advisory role
Knowledge of vehicle systems and parts identification
Experience with automotive parts ordering and supplier management
Strong customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and professional manner
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
