We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller on behalf of our client, a well-established automotive accident repair centre located in Newport, South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a stable and progressive role within a reputable organisation.

Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 productive staff within the bodyshop
Plan and organise workflows to maximise utilisation and efficiency
Collaborate with vehicle damage assessment and parts teams to ensure smooth operations
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repair quality
Maintain a focus on financial performance and productivity targets
Monitor jobs from intake to completion, ensuring compliance with company standards
Foster a 'right-first-time' approach to repair procedures
Support various operational and administrative tasks to meet deadlinesRequirements of a Workshop Controller:
Proven experience in a workshop supervision or management role within the automotive sector
Extensive knowledge of vehicle repair methods and processes
Previous hands-on technical experience and relevant qualifications
Strong organisational and leadership skills as a Workshop Controller
Ability to coordinate multiple teams and workflows efficiently
Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to uphold high repair quality standards
