We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Newport, for the position of a Parts Advisor/Driver.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals seeking a varied role that combines parts advisory duties with vehicle delivery responsibilities.
The successful individual will join a busy Parts Department, supporting vehicle repairs and providing excellent customer service.
Benefits of a Parts Advisor/Driver:
Starting salary of £26,500 per annum
Uncapped bonus scheme with potential annual earnings of £29,000 to £30,000
Fully funded training and ongoing development
Overtime paid at time and a half
22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with an hour for lunch; no weekends requiredDuties of a Parts Advisor/Driver:
Accurately identify and pick vehicle parts for workshop use
Deliver parts to customer addresses using company van
Manage parts stock control and conduct regular stock audits
Handle trade and retail customer enquiries related to parts
Support the workshop with parts sales and administration
Use electronic parts catalogue systems and dealer management system (Pinnacle) for daily operations
Ensure timely and efficient service to internal and external clientsRequirements of a Parts Advisor/Driver:
Recent or current experience within the automotive industry
Familiarity with vehicles and automotive parts (preferred but not essential)
Previous parts experience within a dealership or automotive environment is advantageous
IT literacy, particularly with electronic catalogue systems and dealer management software
Valid UK driving license with minimal points
Strong customer service and sales skills
Friendly, professional, and charismatic manner
