Warrington

£14.01 per hour | Monday-Friday | 08:00-16:00

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with inventory systems? We're looking for a Inventory Coordinator to join a leading life sciences organisation in Warrington, supporting the accurate management and movement of materials used in the production of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in inventory control, stock management, materials coordination, or regulated manufacturing environments who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in accuracy.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing teams have the correct materials available when they need them.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working from daily pick sheets to accurately locate and prepare materials for production teams
Managing and tracking multiple active formulas and material requirements at any one time
Investigating stock discrepancies and locating materials across various storage locations when items cannot be immediately identified
Accurately weighing materials before and after use, ensuring all records are completed correctly
Recording inventory movements and material transactions within SAP
Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives
Handling and storing materials in accordance with GMP and company procedures
Supporting material flow between warehouse, storage, and laboratory-style production areas
Working within temperature-controlled environments, including refrigerated and freezer storage areas
Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with quality standards

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

Previous experience in materials coordination, inventory control, stock control, warehouse administration, manufacturing support, or similar roles
Experience using SAP or other ERP/inventory management systems
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, medical device, food, or FMCG industries would be highly advantageous
Confidence using spreadsheets and maintaining accurate records
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Why Join Us?

Opportunity to work for a global leader in life sciences
Varied role combining inventory management, investigation, and production support
Modern working environment combining warehouse and laboratory operations
Gain valuable experience within a highly regulated pharmaceutical setting
Full-time temporary opportunity with potential for extension

About You

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and inventory as much as handling physical materials. If you're naturally organised, enjoy investigating discrepancies, and thrive in an accuracy-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers. The Adecco Group UK & Ireland is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
