Inventory Coordinator
Measham | £29,000 per year | Full-Time, Permanent
We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to join a growing distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inventory control experience who enjoys improving processes, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy, and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inventory accuracy and product master data.
* Lead cycle counting and stock control activities.
* Monitor stock levels, ageing stock, and inventory performance.
* Produce reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.
* Support warehouse layout optimisation and space utilisation.
* Manage stock destruction processes in line with compliance requirements.
* Assist with audits and ensure adherence to GDP, Health & Safety, and company procedures.
* Support new client onboarding and inventory-related projects.
* Supervise a small team of warehouse operatives and provide training where required.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory operations.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
* Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Excellent attention to detail and compliance awareness.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of GDP standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Forklift/IPATH licence (or willingness to train).
* Experience with temperature-controlled products.
* Previous involvement in customer or regulatory audits.
