Mid Cornwall | Permanent | Full-Time
£65,000-£70,000 + Competitive Package
Sphere Solutions are working in partnership with a successful market leading regional contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial delivery
* Administer contracts, with a strong focus on NEC forms of contract
* Prepare cost plans, budgets and financial forecasts
* Procure subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating the best commercial outcomes
* Prepare subcontract documentation & subcontractor accounts
* Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial performance
* Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
* Prepare accurate monthly cost and value reports
About You
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS
* Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts
* Experience delivering refurbishment and/or new build construction projects
* Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
