Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
Long Term Futures is working with a well-established primary school in Haringey to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join its Autism Resource Provision (ARP) from September.
Supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 6, this role offers the opportunity to work within a specialist setting designed to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional behavioural needs thrive both academically and socially. The successful candidate will become part of an experienced SEND team committed to delivering consistent, high-quality support.
About the Role
Working within the school's ARP, you will:
* Support pupils with ASD and behavioural needs across a range of primary year groups
* Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support in line with EHCP outcomes
* Help pupils access learning through structured routines, visual resources and adapted teaching strategies
* Promote communication, emotional regulation and independence throughout the school day
* Support positive behaviour using proactive and relationship-based approaches
* Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and external professionals to implement personalised support plans
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
