SEN Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs) - Haringey
Full-Time | September Start | Haringey
Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a supportive secondary school in Haringey to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with significant care and medical needs on a full-time basis.
This role would suit someone with experience in education, care, support work or healthcare who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
Your Responsibilities
Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
Supporting all aspects of personal care and toileting
Assisting with feeding during breaks and lunchtime
Ensuring allergy procedures are followed at all times
Supporting safe arrival and departure each day
Encouraging independence wherever possible
Working alongside school staff and external agenciesHours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We're Looking For
Applicants should have:
Previous SEN or care experience
A caring, patient and resilient attitude
Confidence supporting personal care
Strong communication skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
