MOT Technician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Technician to join a reputable independent garage in Bracknell, UK. Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £44,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
Achievable OTE of up to £50,000 inclusive of bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm, with no weekend work, ensuring a good work-life balance

Work on a variety of vehicle makes and modelsDuties of the MOT Technician:

Conduct routine servicing and maintenance including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts or chains
Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to identify issues accurately
Carry out MOT testing for classes 4 and 7 (if MOT qualified)
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
Keep detailed records of work carried out
Support ongoing professional development and training
Ensure compliance with health and safety standardsRequirements of the MOT Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester
Full UK driving licence
MOT qualification preferred but not essential
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
