We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role at a reputable automotive service centre in Sidcup, Kent.

Duties of a MOT Technician:
* Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal and safety standards
* Diagnose vehicle faults using mechanical expertise and diagnostic tools
* Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance tasks on a diverse range of vehicles
* Use hand and power tools efficiently to complete inspections and repairs
* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used
* Assist in vehicle inspections, identifying potential issues proactively
* Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop
* Provide clear explanations to customers regarding repairs and vehicle conditions
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Technician or in a similar role
* Valid MOT testing licence or willingness to obtain one
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
* Proficiency in the safe use of hand and power tools
* Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing efficiently
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
