MOT Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved dealership located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, for the position of an MOT Technician. Stable working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota (8:30am-12:30pm)Duties of an MOT Technician:

Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs adhering to manufacturer and dealership standards
Perform MOT tests on customers’ vehicles in compliance with Ministry of Transport regulations
Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle conditions to the Service Manager
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a fast-paced environment as an MOT Technician
Contribute towards achieving team targets and customer satisfactionRequirements of an MOT Technician:

Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Valid MOT licence
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs within a dealership environment
Strong commitment to quality work and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent organisational skills and motivation to meet targets
