We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Corby that is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community on a fixed-term basis, with the potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.

Role Highlights:

Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed

Support pupils' academic progress alongside their social and emotional development

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils across a range of abilities

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development

Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence, and resilience

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils

Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, trips, and events

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (KS1 or KS2 experience desirable)

Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

A commitment to raising pupil attainment and supporting the development of the whole child

ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
