Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher looking to inspire, challenge, and support pupils at a key stage in their primary education journey?

Do you want to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school where high-quality teaching, pupil progress, and staff development are genuinely prioritised?

We are working in partnership with a friendly and ambitious primary school in Kettering that is seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about helping pupils develop the knowledge, confidence, and independence they need to thrive academically and personally.

The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.

Role Highlights:

Take responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality learning in line with the KS2 curriculum
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support achievement
Promote positive behaviour, independence, resilience, and a growth mindset
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil outcomes
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, activities, and enrichment opportunities

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school setting
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching practice
A motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A strong commitment to raising standards and ensuring every child reaches their potential
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
