We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paint Technician to join our client’s expanding team in Preston. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to progress their career within a reputable accident repair specialist. The successful Paint Technician will be instrumental in ensuring high standards of vehicle finishing, contributing to the company’s reputation for excellence and growth in the Preston area.
Our client is a well-established organisation with over 30 years of experience in vehicle accident repairs. This position is ideal for a Paint Technician with IMI or ATA qualifications who is eager to work in a dynamic, supportive setting.

Enhanced maternity and paternity payDuties of the Paint Sprayer:
Prepare vehicles and perform spray painting operations according to manufacturer guidelines
Operate spray booths effectively, adjusting pressure and temperature settings
Maintain and clean spray guns regularly to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols, particularly during fuel and engine removal
Ensure air intakes are unobstructed and filters are replaced as needed
Wear appropriate PPE including gloves, eye protection, and air-fed breathing apparatus
Dispose of waste materials responsibly in compliance with safety regulations
Monitor spray booth conditions to meet negative pressure standardsRequirements of the Paint Sprayer:
Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer, ideally with IMI or ATA qualifications and solid bodyshop background
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
Valid paint sprayer skills and knowledge are essential
