Children’s Support Worker – Full Time, Permanent - Vale Of Glamorgan

Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people
Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills development
Support with education, routines, appointments, and activities
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans
Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and experienced team
Requirements:
Passion for supporting children and young people
Caring, resilient, and reliable nature
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Previous care or support work experience is desirable but not essential
Full UK driving licence preferred
Additional Information:
The role operates on a rota basis, including long days from 8:30am to 8:30pm and sleep-in shifts starting at 8:30am, with overnight sleep-ins finishing at 8:30am the following day. You will never be required to complete more than one sleep-in shift consecutively.
