We are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team committed to helping children thrive in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
* Promote independence, confidence and positive outcomes.
* Support daily routines, education and recreational activities.
* Build positive relationships with young people and professionals.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
* Ensure the home remains a safe, caring and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people in a residential or care setting.
* A caring, resilient and positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards it).
* Flexibility to work a rota including weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
* A full UK driving licence is desirable.
