We're recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join a well-established business at their Wickford branch. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced workshop professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role or for an established Workshop Manager seeking a new challenge.

As the Workshop Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring all servicing, maintenance and repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You'll manage workshop productivity, support your team and ensure excellent customer service is delivered at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
* Supervise, motivate and support a team of engineers and technicians
* Allocate work effectively to maximise productivity and efficiency
* Ensure servicing, maintenance and repairs are completed to a high standard
* Maintain compliance with all health and safety procedures
* Monitor workshop performance and quality standards
* Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure excellent service
* Assist with technical support and workshop planning where required

What we're looking for:

* Previous experience as a Workshop Manager, Workshop Supervisor or Senior Engineer
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Good mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge, ideally within powered access, plant or related equipment
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of health and safety and workshop compliance procedures
* Full UK driving licence
* Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
