What our client is offering for the successful Fabricator:
£33,000 P/A
Monday to Thursday 7.45 AM to 4.30 PM and Friday 7.45 AM to 12.30 PM (Days)

The Role – Fabricator
Working closely with the design team to manufacture and build new tooling, jigs and fixtures
Producing prototype components and supporting the development of new agricultural machinery
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carrying out high-quality MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel components
Repairing and maintaining existing jigs, fixtures and press tools
Designing and building jigs to support robotic welding processes
Identifying and implementing improvements to fabrication and assembly processes
Ensuring all work is completed to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
What our client is looking for in a successful Fabricator
HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a completed engineering apprenticeship – ESSENTIAL
Previous experience as a Fabricator, Jig Maker, Toolmaker, Prototype Fabricator, or similar – ESSENTIAL
Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills working with mild steel – ESSENTIAL
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – ESSENTIAL
Experience producing tooling, jigs and fixtures – ESSENTIAL
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
