Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Twickenham, West London, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly and family-run team. This MOT Technician opportunity provides a stable and rewarding environment within a well-established, modern workshop, offering the chance to work on a broad range of makes and models.
Key benefits:
Salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
No weekend work
Independent garage with longstanding local reputation
Modern, clean workshop fitted with up-to-date diagnostic equipment
Mixture of servicing, repairs, and MOTs
Opportunities for both qualified and experienced, time-served technicians
Career development prospects within a supportive environmentDuties:
Conduct vehicle service checks, repairs, and maintenance
Perform MOT testing in accordance with legal requirements
Carry out diagnostics to identify faults
Complete vehicle road tests
Work following company procedures and standards
Maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s reputation
Undertake additional tasks as requested to support workshop operationsRequirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician or MOT tester
Proven customer service skills and a professional attitude
Strong time management and organisational skills
Experience working within a busy automotive workshop
Qualified technician or time-served with relevant experience
