We are seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a reputable, family-run service centre located in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to join a busy workshop that values quality work and a supportive team environment. Benefits:
Competitive salary of £35,000, negotiable based on experience
Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm
Optional Saturday work from 8:30am to 12:30pm
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service

Company pension schemeDuties of an MOT Technician:
Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
Carry out repairs confidently and efficiently
Assist with general workshop tasks to maintain smooth operations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Provide excellent customer service with clear communication as an MOT Technician
Maintain accurate documentation of work carried outRequirements of an MOT Technician:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience as an MOT Technician, preferably in a main dealership or independent garage
Ability to carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs confidently
MOT certification with a valid licence
Own tools and the ability to work independently in a busy environment
