Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Prestigious Corporate Office | Knightsbridge
Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a role within a prestigious corporate office environment?
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team based at a high-profile corporate office building in Knightsbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, well-maintained building as part of a small, supportive team, offering excellent work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule and an outstanding employee benefits package.
The Role:
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the building's mechanical and associated building services systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards expected within a premium commercial environment.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical building services equipment.
* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks and mechanical breakdowns.
* Fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical plant and equipment.
* Maintain and service HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, pipework and water systems.
* Assist with basic electrical and general building maintenance where required.
* Complete statutory compliance checks and ensure all maintenance records are accurately updated using the site's CAFM system.
* Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and fellow engineers.
* Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in every 3).
About You:
You'll be a mechanically qualified maintenance engineer with experience working within commercial building maintenance or building services.
Ideally, you'll have:
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
* Previous experience maintaining commercial HVAC and mechanical plant.
* Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* The ability to work independently as well as within a close-knit engineering team.
