Connect2socialwork is currently recruiting for 1-2 Commissioning Reviews Social Workers to join a busy Adults Commissioning team in London, this is a great opportunity for experienced practitioners looking to step into a role with oversight, impact, and supervisory responsibility.

Role Overview

Position: Commissioning Reviews Social Worker
Rate: £32 per hour
Start: ASAP
Working Pattern: HybridKey Responsibilities

Undertake person-centred reviews across commissioned services, ensuring needs are met and services remain high quality and cost effective
Ensure compliance with Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks
Monitor placements, identifying where changes or alternative provisions are required
Work closely with commissioning, brokerage, and provider teams to improve outcomes
Support market development and service improvement initiativesAdditional Responsibilities

Provide supervision to 2 NQ Reviewing Officers
Contribute to efficiency savings and budget management
Analyse service delivery and contribute to commissioning plans and recommendationsRequirements

Minimum 2 years' experience within a Commissioning Reviews Team
Strong understanding of:
Care Act
Mental Capacity Act
Safeguarding
Experience of strengths-based, person-centred practice
Ability to manage complex reviews, provider relationships, and cost negotiations
