Due to business growth, a global leading manufacturer of precision machined components has a new vacancy for a CNC Operator. This role offers excellent training, development, and long-term career progression. You will be responsible for loading fixtures, tooling, and materials onto machines, while ensuring all finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
The Role
Set up and operate CNC machines
Provide guidance and support to less experienced operators when required.
Manufacture and inspect first-off components, ensuring full compliance with specifications.
Identify non-conforming parts, accurately record defects and promptly report issues.
Contribute to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment by following 6S standards and carrying out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM). Continuously develop skills by learning new machine controls, machining processes, and inspection techniques.
The Person
Previous experience working as a CNC Operator, setter or machinist.
Familiar with manufacturing documentation including procedures, work instructions and customer specifications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Motivated and excellent team player
