CNC Operator – Night Shift
GPW are working with a growing manufacturing client who is looking to recruit CNC Operators to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business that actively invests in employee development and offers long-term career progression.
Role Overview
* Set and operate CNC machinery using job sheet programmes
* Check, verify, and adjust programmes where required
* Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality and tolerance standards
* Complete safety checks and maintain accurate production documentation
* Report machine faults, production issues, and improvement opportunities
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety
* Work efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
* Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical or CAD drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures
* Reliable with good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
* Experience with WoodWop software
* Previous 5-axis CNC machining experience
* Knowledge of 5S or continuous improvement methodologies
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Shift & Pay
Night Shift
* 3 nights per week
* 10.75 paid hours per shift
* 32.25 hours per week
Pay Rates
* £22.50 per hour
* Annual salary equivalent: £37,732.50
