Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Milling Operator / Setter / Programmer to join their skilled production team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated CNC professional who enjoys working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines while ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Program CNC machines (online and offline) where required
* Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job
* Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to optimise performance
* Carry out routine machine maintenance and safety checks
* Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Proven experience operating CNC milling machines
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable
* CNC programming experience (Fanuc, Haas or similar controls)
* Experience using Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software
* Knowledge of a variety of materials and machining techniques
* Previous experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a driven team culture
Shift Patterns Available
Days
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 1:15pm
Nights
Monday to Wednesday: 10:00pm – 6:15am
Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am
Night shift attracts a 30% shift premium.
Overtime
Time and a half paid for standard overtime hours
Double time paid for Sundays and Bank Holidays
